Sand Tears

Tears fell through the Night
Falling pearls
Falling stars
Tears in the sand

To some it was the rain
Telling tales too deep to see
Falling in pale refrain
Trembling shades infinitely

Bruised and stained underglow
Stars of blood, tears of flame
Shadows melting into snow
Here below there is no name

Nothing echoes soft and low
No one there to understand

Night tears fell,

Falling pearls
Falling stars,

Tears in the sand
