TO THE STARS

I wish I could sleep a normal sleep,
And get my eight hours without a peep.
My body doesn't let that be so;
For when I wake in the middle of the night,
If I have to go then I have to go.

Trouble is my mind often awakens me,
With lots of useless thoughts running free.
It's very hard for me to see,
Why even dreams won't let me be.

Dreams of flying above a stagnant sky,
Have I been here before, Waking I cry.
Used to live here many moons ago,
now we use it as a gateway to the star's.
