Wrote this after reading Griffonner poems and scribbles,
Don't think he will mind.
The pens mightier than the phone,
But it doesn't have a spell check on it.

Allen Griffonner

A few for the many ,
Things he could write.
Keep my mind engaged,
Through the day and the night.

With many a thought,
He writes through this land.
Like a toughened old goat,
That's a brilliant man.

The protector of words,
The Lancelot of men.
He's one of the few,
I consider a friend.

So if you find your
Mind needs a feed.
Turn to a poet,
Who's a good read.

Byron, Wordsworth.
Edgar Allen Poe.
Some of the poet's.
I don't really know.

With dyslexic brain,
Some poet's not read.
There's some that I like,
Living and dead.

I'd like to throw a poet,
Still living into the mix.
Just incase your not
sure of his name.
Why not check out
the title once again.

Well done Alan. And a most worthy recipient of your praise.

At first I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I read the title. Then I read the contents and was genuinely lost for words. Following close to that I was unable to read any more because of the tears in my eyes!

What an extraordinarily generous and warm hearted man you are, Alan!

I know there are others more deserving of this praise, but as your friend I can only thank you for such an honour so as not to in any way to diminish the spirit in which you said and felt those words.

Blessings to you and yours, my friend, Allen.
