DAWN OF EXTINCTION

I was born into the thread of live,
Trying to live expecting to die.
I'm like one of the dinosaurs of old,
Top of the world or so you may think.
Most of us to sure of ourselves
Could became extinct,
Now it's mankind's time to save this world.
Or we may go where the dinosaurs went.
Before our life on this world is spent,
Then again what if the dinosaurs new.
What if they couldn't save all just a few.
When all their spaceships flew off the ground,
Leaving the populous of their planet
flailing around.
Who knows what greatness they may have achieved,
On this earth that they were forced to leave.
A thought that mankind could never conceive;
Intelligent dinosaurs would never be believed,
Would mankind be forced to take a second look.
If someday in the future they found a dinosaur,
Wearing glasses reading a book.
