Pause I

I drift off
to the dream room
dad sways lightly in a rocking chair
with a cup of espresso
free from hustle and worries
I open the casket with imagination
music seeps from the radio
Alti streches lazily
we all grab happy
the last moment
of this summer

Anna, I confess that after several enjoyable reads of you poem, that word 'casket' has me mystified. I love poetry that requires the reader to think about it, and this is an excellent example of that genre.

A good concise use of words, conveying the lazy summer passing.
