Lantern Screens

Only numbers on lantern screens
Light is burning fading fast
Scream at birth
Gasp for breath,
Drawn through the welling corridors to spin
The room at dawn shows so situational
So gravitational pulls at the hem of a dress
Holds something back
Like a thought to suppress,
Tumblers, the universe careens
Only numbers on lantern screens .
