I can't pass a bookstore with buying a book or more. Sadly they sit on my shelves awaiting me to crack their spine.sometimes I fee they taunt me.

New and old with promised charm
They tease and taunt upon my shelf
These unread tomes and treatises
Classics all but some obscure
History fiction biographies
From Euripides to Harper Lee
Eclectic in depth scope and range
They sit and taunt this lazy lad
You spent good money on this lot
Now we sit in silent rage
At being unused an afterthought
