GUN SLINGERS
Why are they called gunslingers?I've never seen them sling their guns.
It would seem to me daft to sling them,
Or would they sling them just for fun.
I was in the library once,
girl in there when I asked;
she gave me such a dirty look:
"Beautiful could you give me a twirl".
Then suddenly she smiled at me,
As she ever so softly replied.
"Go on with you,
Go and sling your hook".
She said this as she slung a book.
So what is this all about,
Slinging things guns and even hooks.
Then thoughtfully it dawned on me,
As I slung my boomerang away.
The answer it came back to me,
That's all I've got to say.
