Every phone is now a camera. To what end...

Kodachrome

For millennia

we captured life

Held it in suspension

For another’s gaze

By hand over time

Rendering a perception

In charcoal ink or oil

Suddenly reduced to

The naked thoughtless

Press of a button

Forever altering

Us as social beings
