A quick one drawn up for Father’s Day over here in the UK.
Alleviating fears
Drying up the tears
Of yesterdays that have sadly passed us by
Clearing away the weeds
And tending to the needs
Of those of us that sometimes break down and cry
Trying to make fun
Looking to the sun
To bring light to the darkest days that we’ve been through
I’ll alway have my say
As only a text away
Is a poem that I’ve written for situations and people including you.
