Summer by Ann Wood

It is summer and the gardens are overflowing with flowers, fruits and vegetables.
The birds are singing, the bees are collecting honey, the beaches are full of tourists.
It's summer and it smells of flowers and the sea outside.
It's summer and the heat is unbearable, that's why I stay at home in the shade.
It is summer and people are preparing for the long winter by making preserves, jam and compotes.
It's summer and the fishermen go fishing in the sea.
