ALL YOU NEED IS A MOTHER'S LOVE

It came to me like a bolt from the blue,
As a child I actually died.
It may have been a second or two,
I have no reason to lie.

Tried to exist my mind was clear,
Not covered in mist.
I looked down at myself,
From up high.

My body didn't move,
It didn't want to.
This just wouldn't do,
I hadn't lived enough as a child.

Couldn't you see,
while I was looking down at me.
From somewhere up there on high,
I wanted to live I needed to live.
It wasn't my time to die,
Then I heard a voice.

The sweetest of voice,
That I'd heard many times as a child.
For I was no longer looking down,
From up high my body and I was one.

As my mother called out,
" Come on lazy pup it's time to get up".
All I could say was.
" I'll be down in a minute", To mum.
