NEXUS

Somewhere in the universe,
There's a nexus hidden.
Beyond the black holes:
Somewhere beyond the stars,
That tell us who we are.

You had to traverse the universe,
Before the multiverse was born.
Beyond each parallel world,
Before our sun was warm.

A haven of planets,
That have never been before.
With a ever shining sun,
Sitting at its core.

All within the Goldilocks effect,
The same distance from their sun.
Where creatures live free,
Three worlds living in harmony.

Only interested in themselves,
Mankind travelled into space.
I wonder what will happen,
If they come across this place.

Will we destroy and plunder,
As we've done many times before.
Or will it be the beauty that we see,
That makes us realise it will better,
For us to live our lives in harmony.
