some rooms remain abandoned ,those empty walls and windows have a story to tell

windows

the window panes look out
they see a morning
with no one to pull curtains
the bed has no linen
and lights turn on no more
cob webs have blown them off
walls stand empty
they have to bear silence
none listens to them
the old house lady
didn't let her daughters marry
no children to laugh
and roses to bloom
don't know till when
will windows look in silence
many doors have been nailed
they led somewhere before
now they don't lead anywhere

It is a bleak tale these windows tell. Although poetic, they're sad. "The old House lady" says it all. Thank you for sharing this work. Blessings, Allen
