tears you could have cried

Picking up the internal slack,
invoking an inward tension
that emboldens one to face the day
and the prospects of oncoming ones.
Wet cheeks reveal visible cues,
flipping calendars, leaf upon leaf:
               .  .  .  existing surrenders,
               like a sparkled after-rain,
bringing a moist crystalline relief
                   that fills the cracks
and mends the broken places.

I enjoyed reading this. I sense you write as you feel and not hindered by ‘rules’. I call my own art “free fall art” and this would be a good example. We live in a world where people pick up on marginalised rules and give it names, how ridicules is that! Remain being creative and long may you remain unique.
