The wicked scourge of the council tax

Never has one known of such a carnal monetary abuse
Never has there been a financial affliction of such proposterous proportions
Never has there been such a wreckless financial attrocity
Never has such insanity been wrought upon the sane
Yet silently a financial crime has been unjustly levied on the innocents

T'was never to be used to afflict the poor
T'was never to be used to afflict the hardworking
T'was never to be used to afflict the rich
T'was never to be used to assist the incompetent
Yet silently they use their authority for their own gratification

They that stand in Power are guilty of mal administartion
They that stand in the corridors of political darkness and deceit
They that stand as a barrier to reform and protect their secret deeds
They that stand in the deficits of greed and incompetence
Yet Silently the lie of redistribution has gone unchallenged

Oh the insane are running the assylum
Oh the spenders keep spending our remittance in defiance
Oh the ignorant sods justify their selfish existance
Oh the curse of those who claim they are helping us
Yet silently we keep on paying the greedy bureaucrats and say nothing!

There is no council tax in Heaven
There is no council tax in Hell
But Hell is being readied for these wicked thieves
Yet silently I wait for their departure down beyond into the hot fiery furnace where justice will finally have it's day

For it is written .......

There are no tax collectors in heaven
All tax Collectors go to Hell

>>>..oh my. For it is written ! and now engraved too I think.
Wonderful poem my old friend. This will one day be found hundreds of years from now, even thousands maybe, sealed in a tube only to reveal to the new human race that tax-system is still status quo.
