I HAVE A DREAMS BY ANN WOOD
Dreams!Dreams are free, and I have many dreams.
Some I have come true, and others not yet.
I dreamed as a child of one day visiting the Holy Sepulchre in Israel.
And three years ago I visited, when I had lost all hope of walking again.
Before that, I went to Rome, and visited the Vatican, back in 2010.
I also visited Thailand, and its beautiful temples and exotic nature.
I have also been to Africa, on safari, in the Sahara Desert.
And last year I set foot in Greenwich, and it was so exciting.
I dream of one day visiting America, Canada, India, China, Japan and distant Australia and New Zealand, and other beautiful places on our planet Earth.
I also dream of the day when peace will come, and there will be no more wars and hungry and homeless people and children.
I dream that our children will live in a better world, without wars on the roads or between nations.
I dream that I can make all these dreams of mine come true and a better world.
You too can dream, dreams are still free.
