Waiting

I can wait. I've grown old and become fairly patient.
I am, since I'm old, not too fond of the clock. I want
Them to fly to their nests with their fledglings, to
Leave me alone. They will at some point. Can I
Wait? I suppose, but I'm not sure I should, as I
Haven't a great deal of time.

The gift of waiting is often missed by those who receive its benefits. But watching those who the waiting allows the space for seize that time can be special.
