"No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people." H.L. Mencken
Once He's Gone, We'll Learn What We Let Him Take from Us
He'll be dead, so what's the problem? Will the government be broke,
Submerged in debt? Well, sure, but, once again, he will not be
Around. Will the burning hydrocarbons make much of the planet
Deadly hot, or put it underwater? Yes, indeed, but not just yet.
Will eviction of the millions young enough to work, and, doing so,
Help us to keep our pensions, fix our houses, mow our lawns,
Make us poorer? Yes, but only us. It will not bother him. He wants
To drive out all the blacks and women from the military, yet there
Aren't enough of his beloved young Caucasian men to fill their places
Once they're gone. Would some drones and robots work? It doesn't
Matter. He'll be dead, and, anyway, he got the job he wanted because
He told us he'd let us have the things we think we want.
