“The Brave Little Snail” is a heartwarming poetic fable about inner strength, peace of mind, and the courage to stay calm in the face of life’s storms.

The Brave Little Snail

It poured and thundered overhead,
A gloomy, cold and soggy day,
A snail, adrift on foam and dread,
Seemed helpless, swept away.
I opened up my little gate,
“Come in!” I called, “You're free!”
But he replied, “No need to wait—
The storm’s outside, not me!

Inside, there’s calm and warm delight,
Soft breezes blow with grace.
I rest on petals, clean and white—
Out there? A wild place!
You'll catch a cold, or cough and wheeze,
Don’t be so rash, take care!
In here there's spring, with blooms and peace,
Though storms may fill the air.

From my snug shell I watch the sky,
While sunshine floods within.
Leave that loud world to rush on by,
Don't let it cloud your skin.
You’ll shiver, shake, and feel unwell—
Why not a drop of cheer?
Come share with me my cozy shell,
The brightest time is here!

The comfort’s in your state of mind,
Let rain fall if it may,
Let not the storm you leave behind
Take all your peace away.

Come join me in my little hut,
Where warmth and love are near.
Where calm replaces every rut,
And joy will draw you near.
Don’t frown, my friend, or run and hide,
Don’t let the gloom begin!
The world outside will still collide—
But peace comes from within.

Let foes go wild, do what they please,
Stand strong, like mountain stone.
In love and light, you'll find your ease—
Inside, you're not alone!
