This heartfelt poem is a tribute to a mother’s love, born from longing, gratitude, and deep affection. With tender imagery and sincere emotion, it captures the pain of separation and the unbreakable bond between mother and child. The verses speak of quiet
To hug you close, not far away!
To softly touch your weathered face,
Sun-kissed and wrinkled, lined with grace.
To kiss your brow with gentle care,
Though fate has scattered us elsewhere.
To smooth your hair, now white as snow,
As quiet memories gently flow.
And every tear that dares to slide
Down your sweet cheek, I’d brush aside—
I'd catch it softly in my hand,
For it is mine, you understand.
I'd share with you my every thought,
Yet all you whisper back is naught.
To breathe your scent, your warmth so true—
Oh, dearest Mom, how I miss you!
These eyes of mine, both sad and clear,
Don’t cry with venom—just with cheer.
From war and pain we both have known,
This fate we shared, this path we've sown.

A Poem for My Mother
Dear MOTHER, what I’d give todayTo hug you close, not far away!
To softly touch your weathered face,
Sun-kissed and wrinkled, lined with grace.
To kiss your brow with gentle care,
Though fate has scattered us elsewhere.
To smooth your hair, now white as snow,
As quiet memories gently flow.
And every tear that dares to slide
Down your sweet cheek, I’d brush aside—
I'd catch it softly in my hand,
For it is mine, you understand.
I'd share with you my every thought,
Yet all you whisper back is naught.
To breathe your scent, your warmth so true—
Oh, dearest Mom, how I miss you!
These eyes of mine, both sad and clear,
Don’t cry with venom—just with cheer.
From war and pain we both have known,
This fate we shared, this path we've sown.
