LIFE IS NOT GREAT BY ANN WOOD

Not everything in life is beautiful.
There is a lot of gray in it...
There is pain, a lot of loneliness
and too often love eludes us...
We almost don't feel it, busy fighting
With the daily problems of the day.
We have turned into puppets on strings,
With which someone has fun every day...
We forgot to even smile,
we got lost in a world of things and money.
This world does not belong to us,
we are its guests and we came for a short while,
let us leave good traces behind us..
It is important to preserve our hearts
Everything else is vain vanity.

Yes, so true. The sad part is that the concept of capitalism has led to some of this 'pain' where earning the 'daily bread' becomes harder and harder for the worker asndf prtogressively easier for the billionaires. Nor do I think that communism is the answer, both are thwarted by the human condition! Blessings, Allen
