Bellevue
I never liked this town. Well, maybe I did early on, but, before
I was ten years old, humiliated by my classmates, I was keen
To bolt from here. Later, every aspect of this place's bland,
Complacent culture left me cold. Alone and out of place,
I got away once I had finished school, and rarely, never willingly,
Returned. Now that I have ventured back, I see the town is
Greatly changed. It's bigger, even richer, even more complacent,
I would say, and, as such, still more forcefully, it pushes me
To leave.
