a beautiful smile can enchant the saddest heart

That Smile by M.A.Meddings

It was her smile
That served to beguile
My foolish heart
The way it just brightened
The day

The simple quivering
A barely perceptible curling
At the corner of her mouth
As my words
Amused her

And then in
Radient beauty
She brought the sunshine
Into that dark winter
With her smile

It was complete
It was enchantment
It was
What dreams were made of
That beautiful smile
