Sunburnt Red Roses

Sun ablaze, projecting in the garden
while Red Roses are crying for some water.
Sun doesn't care,
shining brightly and disregarding,
Gorgeous flowers are waiting for their slaughter.

Forty days without a sign of rain,
Crying Roses feeling out the thirst.
A Selfish King is inflicting pain,
but these Red Roses aren't like the rest.

The Rays of light, deeper is their bite.
(Roses will wait for the summer showers)
Roses are cooling off at night.
These Brave flowers are counting out the hours.

Suddenly, drops of rain fell heavily from the sky.
Hooray for the Red Roses that refused to die!
