Like so many actors contrived to play positions and roles
Assumptions erroneous rule
An up front in your face deception
A little matter of perception
Reality is easy to control really it's as simple as that
Image and word, reaction and impulse
A weird hypnotic coil of mortal desires
When a select few are pulling all the wires
Including the ones attached to those whose faces announce
Power other factors devised to stay those locked into holes
Like so many actors contrived to play positions and roles
