I was asked to wite this one for a young lady that had died, she had a bench in the local park honouring her, and as sat on said bench a small white feather came floating down and landing close by, so this told me all I needed to know as it did when I los

Little White Feather

Look through the mist
with a lost and vacant glance,
you’ll only see the shadows
when you could be watching me dance

to natures settling tune
in the early morning dew,
swirling in the memories
of me, dad and you.

Now don’t be feeling sad
as I’m never far away,
you should be seeing signs
as you're going through each day.

So carry on with your lives
as I’m always by your side,
like when I gently held your hand
and hugged you when so many times you cried.

My forever love
‘Obi Wan Nicobi’

You will know more about her than we readers, but your words will mean so much; have great solace, to those who closely miss the young lady. I don't think I should say I enjoyed your poem, because enjoyment isn't something one associates with the death of a young lady, but your words glided easily into my imagination. Such events are the nectar of poets. Blessings, Allen
