Stammer.
Writing words I don't stutteras my oral words
as if I hold
a dichotomy in my throat
as if carefully carved into fragmented vocal chord
as if I fail to tend words within
that's where my power lies.
The words contract one by one
lengthening and shortening
into segmented sentence
with long pause
as if the words have evaporated
or lost in forgetfulness, a bandaged silence
and absentness
and then suddenly
trickle out, stuttering
a gabled sound repeated,
comingcomingcomingcoming
and breaks the rule of
natural flow of eloquence
as I use the pen
to close the gap
called stammer.
