Night Whispering {Soft As Violet)
As Night was whispering soft as violetLight orchestras playing into shades of gloom
Inside a room where all was so silent
Eyes searching for you another guise to assume
Were you sitting quiet on a beach
Sunset melodies playing in your hair
Rain was falling upon the sand, each
Drop recalling your face, no one there
To see the fingers on a hand gently tracing
A canvas of shadows by the numbers by the sum
Thoughts heard like sounds of our heartbeats wildly racing
Over the spaces unknown painting what we become
One is so alone unless one is the other
Being still as a stone more than quiet
Wondering at creation and all the bother
While Night is whispering soft as violet
