avila beach

 

lynn finds a a stone so beautiful and so smooth that it seems other-worldly, gives it to lin. lin's inclination is to write something about it, finding the "it" of it elusive.

 

 

        sea worn by eons

             there is an existence beyond —

lin is the rock

 

       infinte beyond ///////

 

 sea worn by eons

        existence beyond ////// imaginable

 

             on the beach ///////

                                          gift 

                                                   proof

 

      one rock at a time

winter light upon

                                        winter revelation

                                                 winter's boundlessness

     existence beyond our ken

                         this is a rock sea worn

                                   by eons

                                winter light

                                        glints seashore

 

          sea worn by eons

 

                            existence beyond within 

                                  pacific born waves

 

                    sunlit shore    reveals

                               shine rocks worn glinting

                    palm-sized rock in hand

                         sea worn by eons 

                            sunlit rock warms my cold hand
