I first joined Poetbay using my real name [Melanie] many years ago.The reason I am starting this account is because I ran into some confusing snags when I tried to upgrade my existing account and start adding poems. I feel the urge to write again.

I told you to go

"Gas-Light" someone else.
.
And, when you LEFT,
.
I calmly savoured
.
And drank
.
The fresh coffee
.
I just poured for you.
.
Now, I'm ALONE,
.
Writing this poem.
.
Not wasting coffee or breath.
