What we like to do when the weather is nice by Ann Wood

Today was a sunny day, and my mom and I decided to take a walk in the park. There were other people enjoying the nice weather. There are already blooming peonies, hyacinths, tulips, marsh snowdrops and other spring flowers. And the lilac has bloomed and smells even better in spring.
The park is full of people walking or doing sports, some were kicking a ball, others were playing tennis or basketball. Children were playing on the playground and you could hear happy children's voices. The weather is beautiful, and birds are singing in the distance. I love walking in such nice weather, I even prefer to be in the forest in the fresh air.
There are several parks in the area where I live, and I often go there. There are outdoor gyms, children's playgrounds, soccer fields, basketball hoops, tennis tables and courts. You can also have a picnic if you want.
There are also nature reserves nearby, and the River Thames runs nearby. Fishing enthusiasts can fish along the banks of the river. If you are a fan of water sports, such as canoeing, windsurfing or you like to go boating on the river, then you are in the right place, the River Thames offers it all.
There are also many farms and small village pubs nearby, where lovers of good home-made food and beer can enjoy it. There is also a farmers' market where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, and animal products, such as butter, meat, eggs, milk, cheese and brined cheese.
There are also horse farms nearby, where you can ride or watch horse races.
My mother and I really like to drive along the country roads, and admire the beautiful views and nature. We often go to the nearby villages and small towns near the city where we live. England has beautiful countryside, and many old castles, churches and houses. Also places for tourism, camping and beaches, this is the country with the most parks and flower gardens.
We love to go on holiday either to the sea or the mountains. Even if it is only for a few days, but to be in nature. We bring blankets, food, games and good books, we have picnics at the rest stops until we reach the desired holiday destination. While we are driving we listen to music or sing. I take pictures of the places we pass through or just admire the view passing by me.
