CNN had recently reported on an 'online rape academy,' but the '62M men' figure misrepresents findings. Users shared the claim in April 2026 following a previous months-long CNN investigation into the dark online world of drugging and sexually assaulting women.

In March 2026, CNN reported the findings of a months-long investigation into a website and chat group teaching men how to drug and sexually assault their wives and partners. The investigation featured reporting about images and videos of what it dubbed as "'sleep' content" on the pornographic website  "Motherless". c o m One of the website's users shared a link to the now-defunct Telegram chat group named "Zzz," leading CNN to find NEARLY 1,000 USERS had joined its discussions.

1,000 is a far cry from 62 million. This concept is obviously evil from head to toe, no matter how small or large the numbers might be. But the fact is, this is actually an offensive and distorted news spin against men and it has had a powerful negative influence on many naive and irrational thinking folks. IMHO, they are the spreaders of  hateful, untrue propaganda that need to mute their vocal cords.
