Simply put:
Drivel-- the resulting distorted consequence and its influence on social media of information that was originally derived from an authentic investigative news report where facts become twisted, so put your righteous indignation to rest.
So, go ahead and occupy that judgement seat. You think you own that throne but you lack a crown backed by words without any weight.
Concerning The Comments on Discerning Drivel from Disclosure,
Clara Mae Gregory has written a comment about those comments.
To Melinda, and all others criticizing this post. I am entitled to my opinion and others don't have to agree with me. However, many of you, including Melinda, have indeed misperceived. This was not an attack on her poem, "The Weight". It is not a denigration of her directly or the subject matter. It is a criticism of the type of propaganda that uses and distorts these reports on such perverted topics-- media distorts information that inflames one group or the other. I, too, know what rape is, having been a victim myself. I am also pragmatic. I have observed the worst fear-mongering towards men than ever before in my lifetime. This post was not addressing her poem the Weight and does not deny the reality of the emotions associated with rape. It does question the sources, the timing, the motivations of CNN and the social media distortions that consequently sprang from the disgusting report. The fears are stoked in distortions, not denials. The problem is real. Fixing the numbers is another matter, though, Identifying who these men are and why they do it is the key to solutions through education and practical advice in prevention. Maybe the disgruntled should go write a few more rant poems about it if it makes them feel better. I stand by my words about the deceptions circulating, such that it was called a "rape academy" that implied it had 62 million attending. Pornography is bad and most will agree, IMHO. It fuels and degrades the mind with perversions such as the Zzz's peeps have-- about a 1,000 that feed their sickness. Sadly, there will be victims. They prey on the most vulnerable, young, naive and innocent', but almost anyone can become their target.

In discerning drivel from disclosure,
I want to preface this:
•1st by saying I prefer facts over bull shit.
•2ndly, I love the males. I probably love men much more than many women of today's times and I am definitely a heterosexual. I hate to see males bashed because of distorted bull shit.
3rdly-- Never use CNN as a "valid news source" because it is NOT at all a valid news source.
CNN had recently reported on an 'online rape academy,' but the '62M men' figure misrepresents findings. Users shared the claim in April 2026 following a previous months-long CNN investigation into the dark online world of drugging and sexually assaulting women.
Claim:
CNN REPORTED MORE THAN 62 MILLION MEN ATTENDED AN "ONLINE RAPE ACADEMY" teaching them how to drug and sexually assault their wives and partners.

What's True
In March 2026, CNN reported the findings of a months-long investigation into a website and chat group teaching men how to drug and sexually assault their wives and partners. The investigation featured reporting about images and videos of what it dubbed as "'sleep' content" on the pornographic website "Motherless". c o m One of the website's users shared a link to the now-defunct Telegram chat group named "Zzz," leading CNN to find NEARLY 1,000 USERS had joined its discussions.
WHAT?
1,000 is a far cry from 62 million. This concept is obviously evil from head to toe, no matter how small or large the numbers might be. But the fact is, this is actually an offensive and distorted news spin against men and it has had a powerful negative influence on many naive and irrational thinking folks. IMHO, they are the spreaders of hateful, untrue propaganda that need to mute their vocal cords.
Let's do some math.
What is the percentage of men out of the worldwide current population of men that possess such perversions?
✅ Answer
1,000 out of 4 billion males is about 0.000025%
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
So let's Stop right here. Time for some male population facts I bet many don't know. Then I'll close by highlighting what is definitely false about CNN's absurd, offensive and dramatically exaggerated "news report" built on fabricated sensationalism:
As of late 2025/early 2026, there are estimated to be approximately 4.14 to 4.17 billion males. The Males currently make up roughly 50.26% to 50.4% of the total global population, which exceeds the female population by roughly 40-44 million people.
Key details:
Total Males: Estimates indicate about 4.14 billion to 4.17 billion.
Percentage: Males account for roughly 50.26%–50.4% of the global population.
Trend: While the global population is currently male-biased due to more boys being born, the ratio is expected to even out by 2050, according to Pew Research Center.
Regional Concentration: Over half of the world's population resides in Asia, which heavily influences the overall gender count.
[Pew Research Center]
The higher number of males is largely driven by a higher birth rate of boys, although females tend to live longer.
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
And those CNN Investigative reported numbers regarding male rapists? Made up? Who and where do these particular male sexual predators hale from? And, more importantly, what can be done about it to fix the heinous problem, great or small?
What's False:
The subsequent social media posts inaccurately claimed CNN reported 62 million men "attended" the "academy." That figure, which also came from the CNN article, represented the total number of visits to the entire pornographic website in February.
In April 2026, social media users claimed CNN reported that more than 62 million men attended an "online rape academy" where they were taught how to drug to sleep and then sexually assault their wives and partners.
For example, on April 15, an X user posted (archived), "CNN exposes a global 'online rape academy' that teaches men how to drug and rape women without detection. Over 62 million men attended in February alone." The post received around 2 million views. Other users shared the same claim on Bluesky, Facebook, Threads and X.
Stop listening to fake news from CNN and your mind will thank you for it.
