Robbie is our youngest, the baby of the family. He was breastfed and weaned at 3 and a half years old, against the "pediatricians" advice. I disagreed with some of the modern child-rearing ideas. My babies were so spoiled, they rarely cried.
The Baby of The Family
He's now 35, a father of twins (boy and girl) and our incredible Legend, about to turn 6. He works for Cummins Diesal Engines in the administration department as the plant operations manager (https://www.cummins.com/en-na/ ). He first got himself into trouble when he was 16 on Mothers' Day for cannabis posession. Then got into more trouble a few more years later, leading to jail time. He had broken probation because he wanted to see his grandmother one last time before she died causing him to go on the run. And the law did catch up with him. My mother died while he was in jail at age 21. I tell this true tale to remind others that there's always hope when you set your mind to it. There will be gray days among those bright ones. Life is a challenge requiring optimism and perseverance. We can't guess the future and it will often astound us as much as surprise us. Be an overcomer instead of a complainer.
