For the curious. Yes, it is true and my decision is firm and I am happy with it.
I am no longer writing what we call "poetry". The poetry I once owned is gone--
I chose to flush it. I am not attached to it. But what is she doing with her time, one may ask?
All I'll say for now is "STUDY", "study", "study" and with due diligence.
Study what? I'll let you wonder. Anyway, all good on my end. We had to postpone our camping trip though, because Wade is still healing. We may leave this afternoon. But what else do I do with my time? I guess I'm a bore, but I like attending our grandchildren's sports activities and suppirt that every way we can. Every opportunity,, I participate or contribute to the nourishing events of community-- especially mine. I help rescue dogs and cats. I help any with medical related needs. Sometimes I feed people or just treat them to a treat for no reason at all and these people are colorful and beautiful. They are much more deserving of my attention and efforts in real time, than anything I could do for them with just words spilled from a pen. But my most directed focus is ensuring my whole family is getting nourished too. All that want higher education will get it because I will make sure they can with any assistance they need. My oldest granddaughter is graduating and starting college this year.Youth programs are very important. Need I say more?
I don't have time for haters, racists and dissidents. I don't have time for petty politics disguised as poetics. I hope all have a nice day. I am, despite the negatives-- and you can too, if you've a mind to. Passe une bonne journée. 🙂
