A tadpole
a stranger thither ,so am Ihow it swims swaying its tail
through the tangled algae
unaware, hidden from our senses
it will soon transform
the way a common stone become a garnet
to something more than it is now,
Nature moves with an economy and perfection
that no man's ingenuity can ever match-
its tail no more useful, will be replaced
by land legs, itself refrocked into a frog,
hopping on land and I too do not know
towards what undreamt being I drift
with the ebb and flow of life
perhaps to be
the ultimate me in me.
