Ah, gee, dear diary diarrhea, some may want to focus on America's negatives instead of her positives. Their choice but not mine. They suffer from TDS in their self-proclaimed role as Social Justice Warriors, with extremist delusions, including the whimpy, cowardly whining grossly passed off as "poetry"and/or negative interactions and communications. Bleh. But Democrats suck the worst. I am proud to be an American. I am not ashamed of the USA. It is the corrupt politicians in this country and around the world I dislike....I am a Christian but I belong to none of man's churches. I am a pragmatic conservative (even more so the older I get), but I belong to no political party. And if voter integrity is not restored to eliminate the cheating, I may never bother to vote again. But back to celebrating yesterday. It was awesome with the most beautiful fireworks shows I have ever seen, both on TV broadcasts and locally. We came to the lake June 27 for 2 weeks. Our children come as they can because of work and sports and busy lives....and this year the heat. Melissa came and joined us first. She just left to go back to the mountains. The others joined us for the day yesterday but couldn't camp with us. Robbie will be returning with his kids and we depart on the 10th. Because our kids are now grown with their own families, I do not place stressing burdens and rigid expectations on them. Now the strategy is that I book 2 week reservations, May, June, July, Aug, and Sept. I send them the itinerary and we go from there. It is working out very well and we even manage to coordinate some of that time where it's a whole family reunion for a few of those days. I am lucky- all my children are not democrats, lol. Still, we ban the discussions of certain topics and politics that usually guarantee family reunion failures.Politicos

Democrats are notorious liars, experts in propaganda twisted distortions [throughout US history].
Senator Ted Cruz lays it out and tells the truth and exposes their deceit. As for the current state of American policy and politics, I am not a member of either party. I despise most politicians in both the Democrat and Republican party in the house and senate. A vote for Trump is not necessarily out of love for the man, it's more about how much more the opposing candidates are despised.
But regardless of whatever government system fate forces me to exist in, I will be happy because I have learned how to live well despite them all and no one will ever take my joy .
God is my compass.
