Regrets? I've had a few.  We can all look back, as humans, and regret things in the past.  It may be one of things life is all about: Learning from our regrets. If you have no regrets, I think I might question your motivation a bit.

GONE ARE THE REGRETFUL DAISIES

Gone are the daisies, white and fresh.
They had a simbolism that I chose
To completely eradicate, forget,
Draw a line in the bruised sand.
Afterwards I had real confidence
That daffodils would peek through
Marking another cycle after seven.
I wondered if she would see them
From her personal version of heaven?

I have spent nine years in contemplation,
Venting my feelings through poetry,
And finaly have reached a second,
An hour, a day, when I am understanding
That all the pain, anger and hurt
Are simply not creating peace for me
But instead are depleting me of love.

I want to love, not feel negative energy.
So, I let go of the daisies and now
I must let go of my conceived distress
So that I can live a more peaceful life.

However much of it might be left!

love can be painful too
when you love someone who is ill
