I don't know exactly how to take this powerful poem: My instant reaction is that it is somewhat negative, but at the same timer somewhat realistic.
I am personally of the belief that we, the proletariat, have to deal with this ourselves, and there are ways to induce change without bearing arms, but they require a concertive coordinated desire.
Chaucer, let us have hope that change will occur, and that it is peaceful and benificial to all. Blessings, Allen
