watching images on tv
and listening to its squall
clicking channels wide awake
i can't sleep at all
though i've tried-closed my eyes
it's only spurious sleep
brain stays on-won't shut off
thinking way too deep
bored to slumber-i drift away
from all that i detest
deaf to all the flashing babel
this sleep aid sure works best

Author's Note: Just a fun poem, based on an insomniac night.Reading can help, especially if it is a boring book. In reality,I seldom resort to the tv when dealing with angst related sleep problems. Listening to Wade's music is the cure and lures me to sleep like a lullabye
