Nothingness
No it's not something,I wish to confess.
Being told I should have died,
Left me feeling cold inside.
Whilst slumbering in a coma
It wasn't in a state of bliss.
Decided to take a peek,
At the other side.
What I found there,
Wasn't very nice.
For all I saw was nothing,
As I looked deep inside.
Don't wish to know,
If there's no heaven or a hell.
Because when I looked,
I really couldn't tell.
A immeasurable Nothingness,
as far as I could see.
A solid wall of nothing,
Coming straight for me.
As I lay there somewhere,
I don't even come to realise.
That what will be will be.
Until it will be to late.
No-one ever asked me,
If I thought I died.
Think I nearly did,
In the corner of my mind.
