Candied People

In a flavored confession
Compelled to admit truth---,
I have a sweet tooth
For most that are sweet.

Except for cotton candy
and all licorice---
My pallette just
Doesn't care for these

The hard balled
gobstoppers are ok.....

Gummies are chewy
In rainbows array-

But it's the chocolates
I find the most savory

Though all taste delicious---
They melt differently.

But what I love more
than the chocolate treats

Are the mixes of all
Candied people
All flavored varieties

So long as they are sweet
Toss the Dum-Dums and suckers

And dont forget the Sour drops-
None of these
Taste good to me

Artificial sugar
