trisectomy
trisectomy
`
Writing up a three-part poem
from nothing, up to its final form;
invented by Erin, surnamed Thomas.
Trisectomising is not based on any other poetic form—
used to aid in exploring the art of non-expository depiction.
Trisecters make no no attempt to sell an idea
nor do they try to explain a concept,
whether that concept be a personal experience
neither be it the interpretation of any object.
Trisection, however, thoroughly exercises
and all the more develops powers of observation,
sense of relational association between things,
and use of depictive and metaphoric language.
The trisect should never explain itself to the reader
else it would give itself away.
The self-respecting trisect's goal is to provide the reader
with an experience of personal interpretation,
a way of interpreting your words as much as possible
from his or her own experience.
