If it's a crime to Love you
Then I plead guilty
To the gentle adoration in my heart
Guilty to the worship of you

If it's a crime to want you
Then sentence me
To a life time of longing
The endless longing for you

If it's a crime to believe in you
Then take the words I've said
That made you doubt I did
And burn my tongue

Then despite this inappropriate
Endearment
Just believe that my friendship
Is love and is yours always
