A few ticks

There's a saying that becoming more and more true,
Day by Day,
If one is called or referred to something,
Then they must act as the referral,
Or the conviction given,
Anything anybody tells you,
Says at you or refers you to,
Is and always will be an opinion,
I am here to give you back something,
You believe that you have lost,
Your ability and your right to choose,
On any matter, Big and Small, Smart or Ignorant,

You are a human being who can choose,
Not a sentence, a word, or a letter,

Teach the masses to lead and follow,
With their eyes and ears open,
Carry a smile,
Rather than front a frown,
It makes you look stronger,

To sum it up,
A smile doesn't cost a thing,
But ignorance is expensive,
On all counts,

To the past, present and future,
I hope this reaches you,
And reaches you well,
