My tribute to all of my musical teachers
I hold these truths to be self-evident,
"Bob" taught us that no matter what,
"Everything is gonna be alright",
"Marvin" taught us,
That "All he ask of us, is we give each other love",
We all seek the same cause,
And to those who don't, they will someday,
There is no escape,
"Live" taughts us,
"If I don't know who to love, I'll love them all,
And if I don't know who to trust, I'll trust them all",
"U2" taught us,
"I believe in the Kingdom Come,
And all the colours will bleed into one",
Know thyself, first,
Only then you can share amongst others,
The gift of being,
"KRS-One" told us,
That "You must learn",
"Ziggy" gave us "his" phrase,
"You don't know your past,
You won't know your future",
Adults do not "point the finger",
Yet they seek the problem,
And help it to be solved,
As once again "Live" phrases,
"Mr. President, I hearby pardoned you of all your crimes,
For they are just as much mine,
Selfishness and separation has led me to believe,
That the world is not my problem,
The world is not my problem,
I am the world,
And you are the world",
As wise actor once stated that,
"Fear is nothing more than a feeling,
You feel hot, you feel cold, you feel angry,
You feel afraid,
Fear can never kill you"
I speak of "Bob",
"Emancipate yourself from anti-slavery,
None but ourselves can free our minds",
And from "Public Enemy",
"Freedom is a road seldom travelled by the multitude",
Since everybody has given a challenge,
I would like to give one of my own,
If I can and if you wish,
I want to read from you, your inspirations,
What makes you wonderful poets,
What inspirations drive you,
Even if it's only God, the best inspiration of all,
I would love to hear from you,
So I can a wonderful collage for all of us to enjoy,
Because, that's what we're all here for,
To enjoy each other feelings and thoughts,
One more inspiration from "Stevie",
"For as long as I live,
And am blessed with air enough to breathe,
I know I'll live to keep our love alive",
The dancer moves without a trace,
