From a time when the world seemed empty 1982.

One More Jack Daniels Down The line by M.A.Meddings

Too many Jack Daniels
And nights in lonely
Wine bars full of people
Struggling to retain
Middle aged composure
In the face of youth
And on Thurday nights
Leaning on counter trays
Watching the redhead dance
As if she wanted me
But I couldnt see for the
the blear eyed Jack
In front of me
Was it a smile she gave me
Or just one more grimace?
'What'll you have mate'
Said barman
'Stella Artois if you please
And the redheads name
If its all the same to you'
One more Jack Daniels
Down the line

When the world seems empty, we suffer and try to fill it with something. Just anything. Sometimes, it is the wrong thing...
Heartbreaking, hero!

Ah another peek into your life or is it? Love the images you created. The ambiance is smoke filled and amber as seen through a glass of whiskey. Excuse my swagger
