For Kerstin.

Leaving in the morning

And so you left me in the morning
and I'm sure you won't be back
But I never will deceive you
or follow in your track.

Every second, every day
it's too much pain to stand
And when you're close to me
you seem to be so far away.

But who am I to judge you
yet I don't know who you are.
Do you love me or do you like me
or is it only for the songs I sing.

And I met you again this evening
at the downtown discoteque
Oh, the music was surrounding us
as you came up to me.

Quietly,

You looked into my eyes
and your eyes they hide a sorrow
then, I would do anything for you
you don't have to say a single word.

And who was I to be that harsh
when all I felt was devotion
How could I ever accuse you
Can we ever be the same.

And you left me again this morning
And I'm sure you won't be back
We didn't find any solution
of how to carry on in our track.
