A ball that spins,
We live on a ball that spins,
And with that truth, so do we,
Always moving, never in control,
We can stand, but we must still move,
We love going that extra mile,
Always testing what we can take,
What can we endure,
And if we're not,
Somebody sure will for us,
Everyday, every spin of the ball,
We never check the batteries,
And some don't even believe in re-charging,
I guess it's our way,
To stare fear in face and make a line in the sand,
But like all thing among us,
We never or always overlook,
The price tag,
Making a check your body can't cash,
Is a phrase from "Top Gun",
But it still rings true in all our lives,
Blindsighted, because,
We're one paycheck away from a mission,
Because,
We have to do what we have to do,
Because,
We have to set the example,
Because,
We want to do the extra mile,
I guess we are really afraid,
Of losing,
Control,
Of losing,
Sanity,
Of losing,
Our edge,
Of losing,
The paycheck,
What happen to faith,
You took up your side of the bargain,
Can't you, won't you,
Let God live up to his side of the bargain?,
Fear dies when more than one works one the same goal,
Objective, Survival, and all of the above the earth,
And below the sky,
Isn't it?,
Shouldn't it?,
The dancer moves without a trace,

Overtime or Overdrive
A ball that spins,
We live on a ball that spins,
